The Oxlee Graham Wines Fall 2025 Newsletter

The cozy calm of fall feels here to stay, and we're all in. The harvest has come slow and steady, brought on by cooler days and crisp, quiet mornings. We're still waiting on the last fruit to make its way to the cellar - a final note in a season that has been nothing short of stellar. Soon, we'll wrap up, settle in, and welcome the shift as the season turns.

As harvest comes to a close, our new releases are ready to pour. We're pausing to celebrate the shift - from long days to holiday rhythms - with a harvest party to celebrate our fall releases. Family-style paella paired with freshly bottled wines; a simple way to toast the season behind us and the one just ahead. Join us!

Harvest update...

This harvest has come in waves. A couple of Pinot Noir vineyards led the way in early September. Mid-month brought a steady flow of fruit. While Petit Verdot still lingers - no date set, keeping us waiting as October unfolds.

This vintage came with mostly cool days, save for one burst of heat in early September. October arrived with crisp evenings and scattered rain, nudging harvest gently outward. Even so, the fruit is stunning. These wines are fresh, layered, and wildly aromatic. A slow season, but one of remarkable beauty.

We're thrilled to be working with a brand-new varietal in the cellar this year: Meunier. Often found in sparkling wines, it was actually a still Meunier that first made me fall in love with wine at the start of my career—and I’ve been dreaming of making one ever since. Known for its fresh red fruit and savory spice, Meunier brings something unique to the table, and we can't wait to see what she shows us. She comes to us from the Alder Springs Vineyard in Mendocino and marks the first still expression of this grape for the growers. We hope to make them proud.

Our next party is scheduled...

We had such a blast at our spring release party, we’ve decided to make it a tradition. So naturally, we’re keeping the good times rolling with a fall release party — and this one doubles as our post-harvest celebration!

Join us for an afternoon of wine, food, and great company.

In honor of our newest leading lady — Margaret’s Old Vine Lane Albariño — we’re taking a little trip to Spain (in spirit, of course) with a delicious paella to pair.

We can’t wait to raise a glass with you!

The moment is finally here...

Big news from the cellar: Oxley, our beloved wine dog, has officially made his debut as a cover model!

We’re both over the moon about this publication—and yes, he’s absolutely ready for fame. The book is now available on our website, and for those feeling just as starstruck as I am, Oxley is happy to sign your copy (paw print and all). On his featured page inside, you’ll find his favorite food, his naughtiest deed, and plenty of charm.

Books will also be available at our fall release party, but if you can’t make it, no worries—we’re happy to ship one your way (or tuck it into your next club shipment). Club discounts apply, and shipping is just $5.

I have also recently done a fun interview with The Wine Write about my winemaking journey. Find this interview and all our other podcasts, interviews and reviews on our "Press" page.

Upcoming events...

We’ve had such a great time this past year meeting new friends and sharing our wines at events near and far—it’s been a blast!

Next up is our fall release party, of course, but that’s not all…

We’re excited to join our fellow small producers for our quarterly open house at the custom crush facility in mid-November —a casual, behind-the-scenes kind of day we always look forward to.

And kicking off the new year with something fresh:
We’re joining The Festival of Undiscovered Grapes—a celebration of the fun, funky, and lesser-known side of wine. We’ll be pouring the “weirdos” of our lineup (sorry, Pinot—you’re sitting this one out). The festival hits San Jose and Los Angeles, so we hope that means we’ll see even more of you there!

What’s next...

We’re in the final stretch of harvest—just waiting on Petit Verdot—and soon we’ll be tucking the new wines in for their winter rest.

The holidays are a time for gathering, for slowing down, and for sharing good wine with the people we love. We’re happy to help you find the perfect gift for the hosts, friends, and family on your list.

We look forward to seeing more of you—at events, in the tasting room, or wherever a good glass of wine brings us together.

Your continued support means the world.

Cheers,

Jennie
