The Oxlee Graham Wines Fall 2026 Newsletter

The warm, sunny days of summer stayed with us as harvest arrived early and moved fast this year. We kicked things off on August 11th—our earliest start yet—and barely had time to settle into our new winery before the first fruit came through the doors. The pace was quick, the days were long, and the cellar is now full of bright aromatics and beautiful young wines.

And just like that, five harvests of Oxlee Graham are in the books. Five vintages, countless long days, incredible vineyards, and so many people who have helped bring this little winery to life along the way. It feels like a milestone worth celebrating—and the perfect time to introduce our new fall releases. We’re celebrating the season behind us, the wines ahead, and five vintages of Oxlee Graham with a harvest party at our brand-new tasting room. Come raise a glass with us!

A little harvest 2026 update and a big move...

This year’s fast and early harvest caught us a little by surprise. While the grapes were busy getting ready, we were busy making a pretty big move of our own—moving our little winery into a bigger space with a fantastic team, beautiful equipment, and a little more room to grow.

The plan seemed perfectly reasonable: bottle our 2025 Pinots on August 7th, move the rest of our wines and equipment on August 10th, take a beat, and get settled before harvest began. Mother Nature had other plans. Our first fruit was ready to pick August 11th.

Talk about ripping off the Band-Aid. Suddenly, I was learning a new cellar, new equipment, and the rhythms of a new team—all while walking vineyards, tasting berries, and making pick decisions. Harvest is always a bit of a juggling act, but this year certainly kept me on my toes.

And the weather gave us a little bit of everything. We watched wildfires and smoke patterns early in the season, ultimately making the difficult decision to walk away from one vineyard because of smoke concerns. Later came some early rain, followed by a little heat. Through it all, the fruit still hanging rode the weather beautifully. Working with vineyards across different regions proved especially valuable this year, allowing us to keep moving while staying true to something we won’t compromise on: only bringing fruit into the cellar that we believe can become exceptional wine in the bottle.

Then, almost as quickly as it began, it was over. We wrapped harvest on September 19th, just over five weeks after that first pick and marking the earliest harvest I’ve experienced in my winemaking career. Fast and furious feels like an understatement—but now that the dust has settled (a little), we couldn’t be happier with what we’re seeing. The 2026 wines have beautiful aromatics, stunning color, and some seriously big personalities already showing themselves as they head to barrel.

And our new home feels pretty special, too. We have an incredible team around us, an impeccable facility, equipment that gives us even more tools to obsess over the details, and—perhaps most excitingly—a brand-new tasting room. We can’t wait to welcome you into the new space, pour some wine, and show you where this next chapter of Oxlee Graham is taking shape.

We’re Opening the Doors (Softly!)...

For those of you curious to see our new tasting space, we have one more way to come celebrate with us! We’re throwing a casual Soft Opening - a complimentary afternoon at the winery featuring our sister brand, Boxlee Graham, the brand made for casual gatherings just like this one.

Come have a glass of Boxlee (it’s the first time we’ll have it open for tasting!), take a peek around, get the lay of the land, and experience our new space. No formal tasting, no big agenda—just good wine, good company, and a fun afternoon at the winery.

We’ll also have a limited stash of Boxlees available to take home, so if you fall in love (you certainly wouldn’t be the first!), we’ll happily pack up a box—or a few—to keep the good times going at home.

Club members: If you can’t make it to our Fall Release Party, just let me know you’re coming and I’ll have your club shipment packed and ready for pickup at the Open House.

And if you are joining us for the Release Party, come anyway! Get a sneak peek of the new space, be among the first to taste Boxlee with us, and settle in for a glass. Come when you can, stay as long as you’d like—it’s going to be easy, informal, and fun.

What’s next...

As always, we’ll keep doing what we love most—making beautiful wines and keeping things interesting. We have a brand-new wine coming this spring, plus a new Fountaingrove District vineyard for our Petit Verdot that we can’t wait to introduce you to.

Beyond the cellar, there’s plenty on the calendar! We’ll be presenting at the San Francisco Wine School in November and joining a whole conference dedicated to Pinot Noir at the Pinot Noir Salon this April. Add in winemaker dinners, festivals, and plenty of fun in between, and there will be lots of opportunities to come sip with us. We especially love seeing familiar faces along the way, so check out our Events Calendar to see where we’ll be next.

We’re also constantly dreaming up new ways to include our OG friends near and far, so expect more ways to sip, connect, and share the wines with us virtually. Stay tuned! And if you have something a little more personal in mind, we’re always happy to talk about private dinners, parties, and gatherings. If you have an idea for something you’d love Oxlee Graham to be a part of, just ask—we’d love to hear it.

Your continued support means the world.

Cheers,

Jennie
